Encouraging Stories: Power of Positive Talk or Avoiding Toxic Self-Talk (Negative Talking)
Allah
(SWT) the Exalted says in Noble Qur'an: "O you who believe!
Be careful of
(your duty to) Allah and speak the right word." (33:70)
I
remember my dad teaching me the power of language at a very young age. Not only
did my dad understand that specific words affect our mental pictures, but he
understood words are a powerful programming factor in lifelong success.
One
particularly interesting event occurred when I was eight. As a kid, I was
always climbing trees, poles, and literally hanging around upside down from the
rafters of our lake house. So, it came to no surprise for my dad to find me at
the top of a 30-foot tree swinging back and forth. My little eight-year-old
brain didn't realize the tree could break or I could get hurt. I just thought
it was fun to be up so high.

Effects and Results of Controlling, Taming and Corruption of the Human Tongue in Islam
Allah
(SWT) the Exalted said in Noble Qur'an: "There is no good in
most of their secret counsels except (in his) who enjoins charity or goodness or reconciliation between people and whoever does this seeking Allah's pleasure, We will give him a mighty reward." [Sura An-Nisa 4:114]
Imam
Sajjad (as) says in Risalat Al-Huquq (Treatise On Rights): And the right of the
tongue is that you consider it too noble for obscenity, accustom it to good,
direct it to politeness, do not use it except in situations of needs and
benefits of the religion and this world. As well as refraining from any
meddling in which there is little to be gained. There is no security from its
harm that accompanies its small benefits. It is the witness to and the evidence
of the existence of the intellect. The demonstration of an intelligent person's
intellect is through their reputation of good speech. There is no power but in
Allah (SWT) the High, the Great.
Islamic Ethics and Morality: Allegations against a believer (Mo'min)
What is an allegation? To reveal the bad quality of a believer,
which is actually found in him is Gheebat (backbiting). However, to reveal detestable traits of a believer, which are not found in him is called Tohmat (allegation). The sole purpose behind leveling allegations is to defame the believer.
There are two words for backbiting, one is GHEEBAT, and the other
is TOHMAT. When you speak about someone, and what you say is TRUE, then this is
GHEEBAT. When you speak about someone, and what you say is FALSE, then this is
TOHMAT.
The Prophet Mohammed (s.a.w.s.) once said, "O Abu Zar, keep
yourself away from backbiting because it is worse than adultery ... After
committing adultery, if one repents, Allah forgives him, but the backbiter can
not be pardoned unless he has been pardoned by the one about whom he has been
backbiting."

Islamic Inspirational and Motivational Stories: Power of Positive Thinking
In life, there are enough times when we are disappointed,
depressed and annoyed. We don't really have to go looking for them. We have a
wonderful world that is full of beauty, light and promise. Why waste time in
this world looking for the bad, disappointing or annoying when we can look
around us, and see the wondrous things before us!
This can be read as "GOD IS NO WHERE" or as "GOD IS
NOW HERE" everything depends on how you see it. So think positive always.
Thinking positive is the key to your success. All successful people have one
thing in common: Positive thinking and passion for what they are doing!
Norman Vincent Peale, the famous author of "The Power of
Positive Thinking" once told this story.
Islamic Words of Wisdom: Don't Judge a Book by its Cover! Dont judge too quickly
A lady in a faded gingham dress and her husband, dressed in a
homespun threadbare suit, stepped off the train in Boston and walk timidly without an appointment into the Harvard University President's outer office.
The secretary could tell in a moment that such backwoods, country
hicks had no business at Harvard University and probably didn't even deserve to be in Cambridge University.
"We want to see the president," the man said softly.
"He'll be busy all day," the secretary snapped.
"We'll wait," the lady replied.

Islamic Motivation: Inspiring Quotes
1)
Never expect things to happen, struggle and make them
happen. Never expect yourself to be given a good value, create a value of your own.
2)
If a drop of water falls in lake there is no identity. But if it falls on a
leaf of lotus it shines like a pearl. So choose the best place where you would
shine.
3)
Falling down is not defeat, real defeat is when you are refusing to get up.
4)
Ship is always safe at shore, but it is not built for it.
