Young man found dead in Sylhet

The body of a young boy was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his house in Sylhet city Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Nasim Ahmed, 16, son of Shah Alam of Oikyatan Residential Area at Pir Mahalla in the city.

The victim’s family said that they had found the body hanging from the ceiling fan in his bedroom at around 9:30pm and they informed the police of the matter.  

The Biman Bandar police reached the spot at around 10:00pm and sent the body to the Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital, police said.

Police told that the reason behind the death could not be ascertained till Sunday.

A case was filed in this regard.
