Youth killed in Jessore

A youth was killed at Basundia under Kotwali Police Station in Jessore Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Kamrul Islam, 38, a day labourer and also a resident of Basundia in Jessore.

The police recovered the body from a field at Sheikhpara near Kamrul’s residence Sunday morning.

The police arrested Pali Begum, wife of Kamrul, and one Tutul, an ex-army man for quizzing.

Police said Tutul might have killed Kamrul because of his love affairs with Pali Begum.

Police sent the body to Jessore Medical College Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination.

A case was filed.
