A housewife was killed allegedly by her in-laws over
a land-related dispute at village Bhojendrapur in Pabna Sunday.
Pabna police said Fulzahan was killed after her
husband Abul Kashem went out to say prayers in a local mosque. Returning home,
Kashem found Fulzahan dead with her throat slit.
Police sent the body to Pabna Medical
College Hospital
morgue for post-mortem examination.
Police suspected she might have been killed over the
property dispute.
The victim’s brother Tofazzel filed a case.
Police arrested five brothers-in-law of Fulzahan in connection
with the murder.
The arrested are Mokbul Sheikh, Hasanuzzaman Sheikh,
Samiul Alam Sheikh, Saidul Islam Sheikh and Ekramul Islam Sheikh.
