The Rapid Action Battalion arrested three alleged robbers along with arms and ammunition and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Shantir Hat of
Patiya upazila in Chittagong
Wednesday morning.
RAB recovered two guns and
one bullet from their possession.
Dipak Joyati Khisa, staff officer of RAB-7, told New Age that they, on a tip-off, had raided the area at about midnight
and arrested the three when they were allegedly taking preparation for robbery.
Two members of the gang fled the scene.
The robbers were
later handed over to the Patiya
police station.
A case was filed in this regard.
