Two men found dead in Gazipur

Police recovered the bodies of two unidentified men at sadar and Kaliganj upazilas in Gazipur on Tuesday.

At sadar upazila, farmers, while harvesting paddy, found the body of a youth, aged about 24 years, in a ditch beside a paddy field in the morning and informed police of it.

Joydevpur police recovered the body, wearing jeans pants and a shirt with black and white checks.

Police said they suspected that the miscreants might have killed him over previous enmity.

In another incident, police recovered the body of an unidentified man, aged about 45 years, from a pond at village Tiria under Kaliganj.

Police sent the bodies to Gazipur Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination.
