Jahangirnagar University Teachers Association honoured seven
former teachers for their academic excellence on the university campus on
Saturday.
The former teachers honoured were Professor Sabiha Sultana
of geography and environment, Professor Shafi Ahamed of English department, Professors
Abdul Malek, Humayun Kabir and Tapan Kumar Debnath of mathematic, Professor
Amir Muhammad Ali of economics and Professor Mohiuddin Mollah of physics.
The former teachers addressed the programme presided over by
JUTA president Professor AA Mamun.
