A
female garment worker was strangled allegedly by
her husband for
dowry at Rajashon under Savar municipality in Dhaka Wednesday morning.
Quoting locals, police said the couple has been
living in a rented room for long. On Wednesday morning the locals found the
room locked from outside.
As they broke into the room, they found Momena dead
and informed the police of the matter.
Chanchal has remained absconding, locals said.
Police sent the body to morgue
for post-mortem examination.
A case was filed in this connection.
